I graduated today. For written Finnish I received a 2.1 and for spoken Finnish a 1.3. (the score 2.1 is the highest). Most of the people have lived here a lot longer than I have so our scores are exact opposites. They learned Finnish speaking to their friends and I’m learning Finnish now by writing exercises. Today the class (meaning only 5 out of 13 because the rest are bums) went into Helsinki and our teacher took us around to some museums and then finally the Christmas market. So much snow in Vantaa! We live in a snow globe that shakes, shakes, shakes. This past week Tarja and I went into Helsinki to get 1€ glasses of wine at Bakers. A guy named Janne (Jaane, Jaanne, en tiedä anteeksi!) invited us to a karaoke bar. Obviously yes.
